ABOUT THE BUSINESS

The cost of high technology components and construction cost of automobiles, being developed to meet ever-increasing "First World" standards of Safety and Environmental Regulations, has tremendously affected vehicle retail sale prices. Steel bodies, sophisticated wiring systems, computerized control and monitoring components, impact protection devices and unionized labor, drives the cost of most vehicles well over the $12,000 range. When these same vehicles are sold into developing countries, transportation cost and tariffs greatly increase that price, putting these vehicles out of reach for all but a select few.

CVTrac provides basic transportation, a utility vehicle that can be configured into various styles such as a simple Pick-up, Delivery Van or Passenger Transport. Only necessary accessories and equipment are installed with the basic unit. The CVTrac utility vehicles are of simple design, capable of being manufactured regionally by utilizing non, semi, and skilled workers. Our vehicles are made from composite materials, plastic resins, structured foam and other core materials reinforced with fiberglass. The construction of our one piece "Body Tub" or Monoque Body, provide the strength and impact resistance, far greater than any ordinary transport vehicle, without using a standard vehicle steel chassis.

The CVTrac vehicle was designed by racecar drivers, with simplicity, fuel efficiency, durability and safety in mind. It has gone through rigorous testing at America's premiere testing facility in Texas. Including off-road, racing & crash testing. The basic pick-up is capable of carrying the equivalent of 11+ passengers (comfortably), powered by a brand new engine, model CVTrac1.3 This is not some newly invented, high-tech engine & trans with no actual roadworthy experience to its name. On the contrary, this 1300cc water-cooled engine with 5 speed trans, produced in Zastava, Europe and imported to wherever it is needed, has over 10 Billion kilometers of actual road condition driving to its credit (the highways of Europe). There have been more than 4 million produced over the past 20 years, while many modern improvements have been incorporated to keep it up to date. One of the major reasons for utilizing the CVTrac 1.3 , is its impressive high mileage to low maintenance record, that compares to that of vehicles built 50 to 60 years ago, when cars were built to last.

CVTrac incorporates a basic method of constructing transportation for developing countries by using a simplified manufacturing system similar to the composite concept of the most successful car racers. This combination of high technology composite construction with simple design & manufacturing process, using a local labor force, reduces cost, increases local hiring potential and provides affordable transportation options.

By manufacturing in a developing country, big savings can be realized by eliminating a lot of added cost (ex. Shipping, custom duties, taxes, etc.). Obviously, the cost of a "Composite type Vehicle" with approximately 500 parts (such as with the CVTrac), compared to a vehicle manufactured by conventional methods, using imported materials with thousands of complicated parts and systems is quite different.

No vehicle manufacturer in the market today, in the CVTRAC price range, can offer the endless types of designs and power trains that CVTrac can. The basic unit can be easily converted from pick-up, to a delivery van or passenger transport in minutes. For corporate needs with simple adjustment to a mold, a made to order CVTrac is a snap. Even a designer CVTrac could be introduced, if the market calls for it, with simple bolt-on components.

If you are interested in manufacturing CVTrac, prior automotive experience is not necessary, as it is possible to hire an experienced staff of qualified people.
